Digital product designer

Over the past 15+ years, I've worked at the intersection of product design, systems thinking, and cross-functional leadership. Most of that time, I've been embedded in complex, multi-stakeholder product environments across media, entertainment, gaming, and infrastructure. My work combines hands-on design execution with the strategic and organizational work that makes teams effective.

Sometimes I work on an interface that gets shipped. Sometimes I build a prototype within an existing codebase to prove an idea before engineering work starts in earnest. Sometimes I'm coaching a designer or a team lead, helping a team find alignment, or building the conditions for great work to happen.

Recently I've been thinking about:

• how my definition of a design tool is changing
• running across the White Mountains, New Hampshire
• getting sourdough to the right hydration in August
